Treatment for Your Aches and Pains

As you know, we are dedicated to the promotion of alternative and natural health. As such, we’ve decided to start a series that is dedicated to research of natural treatments for specific illnesses. For our debut installment, we’re going to discuss alternative methods of treatment available for the instance of tendonitis.

During our research, we found some great information published by health experts at the Alternative Medicine Zone. As we begin our new series, we thought you might like to hear what kind of alternative methods are available for the treatment of tendonitis.
If you're suffering from a particularly trying case of tendonitis, try thinking outside the box oftraditional treatment may bring you the relief that has otherwise eluded you.

The most popular and easily accessible alternative medicine in general is Traditional Chinese Medicine. This is especially good news for people who suffer from tendonitis, because special study of tendonitis has revealed many very effective ways to deal with it. The most widely known is acupuncture. There are several documented cases of acupuncture treatment giving almost complete relief from tendonitis pain with only one treatment, although this is unusual. While you may be one of the lucky ones for whom relief is instantaneous, you should plan on having a series of acupuncture treatments with an appropriate practitioner.

Less well known, yet just as effective, is the practice of using herbs. This includes herbal preparations that you take internally, often in the form of teas, as well as herbal preparations that are applied externally to the skin. C
hinese patent medicines are also available to treat tendonitis. Patent medicines have, in many cases, been used safely for centuries or more. The real key to successful treatment with patent medicines is having the advice of a skilled practitioner to recommend the correct product.

Before we move on to the next installment of our series, we think it’s pertinent to remind you that there is an
alternative treatment for every illness, ailment, ache, or pain. Even if you’re not comfortable relying completely on alternative means, combining natural methods with those of synthetic medicine will produce and unexpected powerhouse of healing!
